L’Association des constructeurs de routes et grands travaux du Québec (ACRGTQ) a aujourd’hui pris connaissance du budget 2024-2025 du gouvernement du Québec, ainsi que du Plan québécois des infrastructures (PQI) 2024-2034.
Les investissements dédiés aux infrastructures seront concentrés sur le maintien des actifs. Le secteur routier n’y échappe pas, lui qui est maintenant estimé à 57% en bon état. Malgré un budget déficitaire de 11 G$, ce sont donc 2 G$ de dollars qui seront ajoutés à l’entretien et au développement du réseau routier portant le total du PQI à 34,5 G$. Bien que l’ACRGTQ comprenne le contexte financier actuel, il faut réaliser que si les investissements actuels ne sont pas haussés lors des prochains budgets, cela aura des impacts négatifs importants sur le bon état du réseau.
